Sharryn is an oil painter specializing in large scale statement paintings depicting huge skies, clouds and dramatic storms.
These paintings demand your attention and will delight your senses.

They convey the feeling of being able to walk into the painting, to almost feel the wind in your face and hear the sand crunch under your feet as you gaze upon a seascape, or the smell of a storm approaching over hundreds of acres of canola at her family farm in Dimboola.

Sharryn uses her hands to paint in the Alla Prima style letting the clouds form as they will, only using a palette knife and a big house brush to form an ocean or land. Sharryn never has a preconceived picture, they just become a landscape or a seascape but always they start with the sky!
