POSTCARDS from my palette
en plein air paintings

by Pamela Reid

A life-long passion for roaming with her camera and sketchbook, a residency in England’s Lake District, along with art history/painting workshops in Italy and France, have been the collective inspiration for Pamela’s exhibition, “POSTCARDS from my palette”.

Wherever she wanders, Pamela’s suitcase carries canvas and watercolour pads, paints and brushes, the tools for mixing surrounding colours to create a series of en plein air ‘postcards’.

Pamela is an accomplished life drawing artist, demonstrating her responses to the impact of light and the human form.
Similarly, “POSTCARDS from my palette” reveals her spontaneity in capturing the essence and presence within a land or seascape.
