Forest Copper Light

56 x 76 cm and is unframed.

It’s a mixed media painting using alcohol ink, acrylic paint and black pen. The surface is yupo paper. The style of painting is contemporary landscape and has been done in the negative approach – a painting using negative space, by working around an object to make a composition. I’ve also added loose lines in blue pen to give more definition and movement. The dominant colours of ‘Forest in Copper Light’ are blues with highlights of copper. This work is inspired by our natural environment and my imagination.
