This painting was inspired by my love of Crimson Rosellas, a bird native to Victoria. I see them often and just love how they act, sound and look. I will often hear them before I see them so I have gotten good at recognising their calls and you may see me running outside my house looking to the sky, trying to get a glimpse of one. I have stylised the work to make it more edgy and fun. It is painted on a round wooden board so the shape is also fun and different.
