An original drawing. This is a hand drawn piece with some use of a ruler and templates.

I used Derwent Artist Pencils on light cartridge paper (approx A3 size).

My interpretation is imaginative. I’ve included a number of suns, but used the typical colours of Arnhem Land. Traditionally, Walu is the sun, according to the Yolngu people in Arnhem Land. She lights her torch each morning and extinguishes it at the end of each day. At sunset, some of her red dust settles in the sky causing the stunning colours.
