Surf Coast family man and printmaker Matthew Solly is inspired by the surfing life style
and the local beaches.

An accomplished watercolourist, Matt’s passion is lino cut printmaking.
He is able to transform a local surf break, or the simple daily activity of friends preparing to go for a surf into beautiful works of art.

He works on multiple pieces of carefully cut lino, and is able to piece them together in many different formations to create the various editions of prints, often using handmade papers.
His recent printed artworks are so large he needs to hand rub the print as they are to large for conventional printing presses.

As these are hand printed, additional editions can be requested for most of what we have had available.
They will never be identical, but we are happy to help you through the process to acquire a unique artwork.
