MEREDITH THOMAS

Meredith Thomas has spent her summers at Aireys since childhood, observing and absorbing the changing interplay of ocean and sky.  

Movement, reflection, and surface are recurring themes in her paintings, and her work is characterised by glowing colour and dynamic, gestural brushstroke.  

    An RMIT graduate,  Meredith has drawn,  illustrated books,  and painted for over 30 years.
She has taught drawing at both Swinburne and RMIT universities, and her work has been aquired by St Vincent’s hospital and NGV.
