BEACH FOREST

mixed media paintings by Nick Morris

Inspired by coastal Ancient Moonahs and the birdlife along the coast.
This exhibition ties back to a whole history on the coast and my connection to it.

I spend hours amongst the Moonah Forests and am intrigued by the silhouettes that the forest creates. I am more interested in light and shade of the twisted branches and foliage more so than any emphasis on colour which shows in this body of work.

The bird life always grabs my attention in my exploration and just had to be included in this exhibition.
