Thank you for your interest in exhibiting with Eagles Nest Fine Art Gallery.

Located on Victoria’s renowned Great Ocean Road, in the Surf Coast, with a long term contribution to the arts for over 25 years, the Gallery offers artists a professional and welcoming platform to present your artwork, expand your audience, and be part of a vibrant creative community. Opportunities include curated exhibitions, promotional features, ongoing representation, and connection with art collectors, visitors, and fellow creatives.

The Gallery offers two pathways for Artists seeking opportunities. 

Each pathway has two stages. 

This form is stage one of each pathway.

Both preferences require artist registration and submission interest via this “Artist Registration & Submission Form“. 

Option 1 –  Ongoing Gallery Artist Pathway 

Option 2 –  Single Curated Project Pathway

All Artists must first submit this “Artist Registration & Submission Form” Expression of Interest (EOI). This is a one-time application. Once approved artists can make unlimited EOI’s via the online Exhibition Form and Spotlight Feature Form.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required to submit your Expression of Interest.  Many sections also include optional fields, allowing you to provide additional information if relevant to your artistic practice.

To submit your application, you’ll need:

  • Contact details
  • A short Artist Biography
  • An Artist CV
  • At least one artwork image with artwork details
  • The completed declaration

We recommend preparing your files before beginning in case of an internet interruption.

ARTIST PRACTICE

REQUIRED - for e.g., include a brief introduction to you, your artistic practice, themes, or inspiration. Also referred to as a short Artist Bio. (Max 300 words – upload in PDF, .doc, .docx format). (This will be the primary reference for information about you & reflected across all media including material for Exhibitions, Spotlight Feature & online posts.)

OPTIONAL - A longer version of your short Artist Biography. This option exists for Artists who wish to include additional information that would be too long for the main short Artist Bio. For example, elements such as additional art awards, study, etc. This, along with the short Artist Bio, may be referenced for a website artist page, an Exhibition, Spotlight Feature & online posts.

SUPPORTING MATERIAL

Supporting material is an essential part of your submission. It provides insight into your artistic practice, the quality and consistency of your work, and how your work may align with the Gallery’s curatorial direction. Clear, well-presented images and contextual information allow the Gallery to thoughtfully review your work and consider it for inclusion and future opportunities.

Supporting Material Options

To submit your application you only need 1 x artwork image and the accompanying artwork information. You may also choose to include: A) Up to five additional artwork images. B) A portfolio document. C) A body of work or exhibition proposal.

10 pages max combined into one PDF or document file type. File to be a max of 5MB. (Upload just one photograph in the Images section below and include additional images of your artworks in this Portfolio section.)

3) PROPOSAL

OPTIONAL - If you have a specific body of work, exhibition idea, or concept you would like us to consider you are welcome to include it below. NB: submissions at this stage/via this form inform the Gallery of your overall practice & a preview of your proposed Exhibition/Spotlight Feature. Exhibition and Spotlight Feature opportunities are curated separately & will require a full submission via the corresponding online forms once approved to make a submission.
