Eagles Nest Fine Art Gallery is an independent Gallery with a diverse and eclectic showcase of contemporary Australian art and leading artists over a large range of mediums.
Located in Aireys Inlet on the iconic Great Ocean Road, Eagles Nest Fine Art Gallery is a much-loved cultural destination, operating for over 25 years. Our architecturally designed gallery is a stand out cultural destination for both locals and visitors, showcasing the creative vibrancy of the Surf Coast — home to the second-largest population of professional artists in Australia.
As a commercial gallery, Eagles Nest Gallery is happy to hear from new artists that may add something different to our artist’s nest and fit the needs of our client base.
Submissions Via Our Online Submission Form Process
If you would like to submit artworks to us for consideration please note that our submission process will be via our online portal that will be launched in the next short while. Once this is launched, you will find the portal on our website. Until then our EOI’s are on hold.
Walk in submissions to the gallery will be directed to do the same.
Information For Artists About Our Gallery
The Gallery offers a program of Exhibitions, Artist Spotlight Features, rotating Gallery Collective displays, with a digital stockroom, a professional artwork commission service, whilst offering the occasional art workshop. There is no fee to exhibit. There are no hanging fees. Sales inlcude a 35% commission.
We are dedicated to presenting a dynamic and inclusive program that celebrates artists from the Surf Coast, surrounding hinterland, and coastal hubs, with featuring select artists and artworks from further afield to enrich our offerings. Our programs provide vital professional opportunities for established and professional artists, the occasional curated emerging artist, and foster engagement between artists, collectors, and diverse audiences.
Eagles Nest Fine Art Gallery champions creativity, professional opportunities, local connection, diversity, the arts and our artists, making it an inspiring place to share your work, connect with audiences, and further grow your practice.
We focus on independent artists for their talent, provide a professional gallery and curated guidance to display and sell their artworks to a clientele of collectors and art lovers.
The Gallery has a number of (mid-small) exhibition rooms and display spaces throughout the building. A map is provided on our website for the Main Exhibition room with specs for reference.

Program of Exhibition Opportunities
Eagles Nest Fine Art Gallery invites artists to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be considered for our Exhibition and Spotlight Feature program and representation in our Gallery Collective. Located on the Surf Coast, our gallery provides a professional platform for artists to showcase their creativity and be part of our talented and vibrant artistic community.
In support of our artists there is no fee to exhibit nor a fee to be featured in our gallery. A commission is applicable to sold artworks.
EOI’s will be open for:
- Bi-Monthly Main Gallery Exhibitions – curated two-month exhibitions in the main gallery (with a one-week break between cycles).
- Spotlight Feature – a flexible highlight opportunity (weekend to one month) showcasing individual artists or projects with promotional support.
- Ongoing Representation – join our community of represented artists, with opportunities for ongoing display, marketing, and gallery promotions and display in our Gallery Collective spaces.
Your Expression Of Interest (EOI)
You can start preparing your Expression Of Interest/s (EOI) in relation to collating the following.
Please Include In Your Submission
- Your contact details
- An Artist Bio (short, 250 words maximum)
- An Artist CV (1 page in document or PDF format)
- An Artwork Statement (a summary of the body of work & how it relates to your arts practice) (up to 500 words maximum in document or PDF format)
- 3 – 6 images that reflect the work you propose to exhibit.
- Photo files are to be JPEG/MPEG/JPG/DNG. Still images are to be a maximum 1MB each.
- You are welcome to include a PDF folder/file with additional imagery/information, any active links, up to 5MB, in size in the SUPPORTING MATERIAL section. This is ideal for sharing all visual images of a completed body of work.
- For digital mediums, such as film, animation, and audio:
- Please include a link to a publicly accessible location (such as Vimeo or Google Drive,) with the password (if applicable).
- Preferred format is MP4 at a high (to medium) resolution with a preferred 2K render and no longer than 3 minutes.
- Social media and/or website page links for further consideration and context of your practice. (If you don’t have these you can still submit.)
- TIPS: It is good practice to work from a reference document and save at regular intervals to ensure you don’t loose valuable work if there is a dip in internet service.
We receive many submissions every month.
All complete submissions via email will be viewed on a monthly basis and discussed by the gallery team.
