RESONATE

Inspired by the shapes, textures and colours of the environment, Resonate is a play on words, as I use resin in my work and my intention is to create artwork that resonate with the viewer. I pay homage to familiar and not-so familiar forms of nature through a contemporary vision and style.
As I work, I constantly think of balance, contrast and harmony.

I love mixed media and often use reflective touches in my paintings, including gold and silver leaf, to enrich and enhance the artwork, before adding highlights of high-gloss resin.

My intention is to create art that evokes memories of place and time or just create an uplifting feeling.
