Touch : Focusing on humanity with a series of hand paintings from mother and daughter.

‘Touch’ reflects on the human element with active and passive hands, interpersonal touch and creative, vibrant, actioned touch.

With deliberate focus on the texture of each skin’s surface to imbue a sense of intimacy this theme also alludes to our journey of coexistence and connection.

Included are three paintings of my daughter’s, Natasha James, continuing the theme of hands.

The meeting place a gallery provides is part of the evolution of this artistic process and one of the most exciting parts.
