Our curatorial vision celebrates the richness of Australian contemporary art by bringing together diverse artistic perspectives, practices and voices. This thoughtful balance honours the unique creative identity of the Surf Coast while presenting outstanding contemporary artists from across the country.

Together, this approach has established Eagles Nest Fine Art Gallery as a destination for discovering exceptional contemporary art — where local stories, landscapes and creative spirit are experienced alongside nationally significant artistic practice, fostering meaningful connections between artists, collectors and visitors.

Our exhibition program provides meaningful professional opportunities for established artists and selected emerging practitioners whose work aligns with our curatorial vision. Through a considered program of Exhibitions, Artist Spotlight Features, the Gallery Collective, a digital stockroom, bespoke artwork commissions, artist demonstrations and occasional workshops, we create opportunities for artists to connect with collectors, engage new audiences and strengthen their professional practice.

As a long-established contemporary gallery on the Great Ocean Road, we are committed to supporting artists throughout their creative journey while offering collectors an inspiring and thoughtfully curated destination to discover exceptional art.

Our Gallery provides a professional platform for artists to showcase their creativity and be part of our talented and vibrant artistic community.  We are a friendly and  experienced gallery committed to building long-term relationships and championing artists throughout their creative journey. The Gallery is known for its personal relationships with both artists and collectors.

ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES

EXHIBIT YOUR WORK AT EAGLES NEST FINE ART GALLERY 

Eagles Nest Fine Art Gallery invites artists to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be considered for our Exhibition and Spotlight Feature program and representation in our ongoing Gallery Collective. 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Seeking professional and established artists
• Welcoming applications from local, regional and Australian artists to join our creative community
• As part of this intake, we are thoughtfully broadening our represented artist collective by inviting additional professional contemporary artists whose work complements the diversity of our existing collection.

OUR COMMITMENT

We warmly welcome applications from artists of all backgrounds, identities and lived experiences, and encourage artists whose unique voices and perspectives enrich the diversity of our creative community to apply.

In support of our artists there is no fee to exhibit nor a fee to be featured in our Gallery. A commission is applicable to sold artworks.

EOI’S ARE OPEN FOR THE FOLLOWING

1. Ongoing Representation (Gallery Artist / Gallery Collective) – join our community of represented artists, with opportunities for ongoing display, marketing, and Gallery promotions in our Gallery Collective spaces.  
2. Bi-Monthly Main Gallery Exhibitions – curated two-month exhibitions in the Main Gallery room (with a one-week break between cycles).
3. Spotlight Feature – a flexible highlight opportunity (weekend to one month) showcasing individual artists or projects with promotional support.

Please note that the application process has two chronological stages

1. Register your artist details & submit your expression of interest
2. Applying for Opportunities 

The Artist Registration & Submission Form  EOI provides a dedicated pathway for submitting all relevant information to the Curatorial Panel, without duplicating material otherwise required of Gallery Collective Artists when applying for further opportunities.  This process also ensures Artists only progress to more detailed application stages where there is strong curatorial alignment and genuine potential fit, helping avoid unnecessary time spent preparing extensive submissions for opportunities that may not be the most suitable match at that time.

The Artist Registration & Submission Form  EOI  contains the opportunity to briefly present an Exhibition concept for Artists’ who wish to apply only for Exhibition and/or Spotlight Feature opportunities.  

Once approved via the Artist Registration & Submission Form  EOI process, the Artist may then submit detailed EOI’s for specific opportunities, including the official Exhibition and Spotlight Feature programs via the relevant online forms.

We separate Artist Registration from Opportunity Applications so approved Gallery Artists don’t need to repeatedly submit the same professional information each time they apply.
