‘Children’s Tree’ is a colourful and whimsical negative painting. Negative painting is done by creating a composition in the negative spaces of surface. This piece is inspired by a combination of my imagination, my celtic background, filled with stories of faerie folk and the natural world. The style is naive art with loose, linear outlines to add definition.
