Description
Pouch 10 x 10cm with a 60cm long hanger – knitted wool and cotton
The year of “staying home” has led me to a practise of using what is available in my artworks. Our home has become our world, with time to really consider our spaces.
The Hope Pouches are a response to using the short threads of beautiful yarn, trimmed off my larger weavings, that I have felt unable to discard!
These are a meditative piece to create, bringing disconnected threads together to create an object of warmth and hope, and to brighten up any dark corner in the home.
