original, contemporary landscape painting that is both semiabstracted and somewhat naïve. It’s painted on stretched canvas using acrylics, inks and charcoal.
The inspiration comes from a mix of remembered images from arid areas in Australia, plus colourful sunsets. My intuitive approach makes connections between the environments above and below, along with a feeling of atmospheric stillness.
