My first trip to Uiure – The Great Barrier Reef, was back in 1975. Like, others, I was overwhelmed by its beauty. This piece of art is a semiabstracted impression of the vivid colours and imagery of a remembered underwater scene at the reef. The effect has been achieved by moving and tilting the wet ink. I also use an ink air blower at times, but no brushes have been used.
