The Apology

This painting was inspired by a book.  One of the key elements was an apology that was offered to a principal character.  That “act” changed everything. It was a pivotal moment, a window for reconciliation.  In much of my work I use birds and other animals as metaphors.  In this painting, the bird has alighted on the main character, symbolising the power of an apology.
