I am an Parrdarrama Pungenna and Six Rivers Aboriginal Fully Qualified Primary School Teacher and Aboriginal Artist.

Our family only became aware that we are Tasmanian Aboriginals about 6 years ago. I have spent a lot of time since then discovering my Aboriginally Heritage by working in Aboriginally identified jobs, learning art and working for an Aboriginal Art Studio. It enhanced my knowledge, skills and wisdom of Aboriginal Heritage, Art, Song and Stories in Traditional and Modern ways.
Also, during this time I developed my Contemporary Aboriginal art portfolio, mostly at home, by naturally painting and drawing symbols I had already learnt as a young child, but were left dormant.
Baluk Arts, DHHS, NDIS, First People’s Health and Wellness and many communities have purchased my artwork to complement their buildings as they aim to reach reconciliation.
